Founding GTM

Find the right customers, win their trust, and build Arda’s first repeatable sales motion.

Location
San Francisco, CA
Employment
Full time
Compensation
$120,000–$150,000 base salary per year, plus commission and equity

The role

Arda helps brands act on what they learn about their visibility in Google and AI answers. You will own the path from the first conversation to a signed customer. The work starts with understanding a marketing team’s search problem, showing what Arda would do about it, and learning from every deal we win or lose.

What you’ll do

  • Build a focused pipeline of enterprise brands and agencies through research, outreach, referrals, and events.
  • Run the full sales cycle: discovery, demos, proposals, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close.
  • Work with the founders to sharpen who we sell to, how we explain Arda, and how we price and scope engagements.
  • Keep the pipeline and forecast honest. Document what works so the next hire has a sales process worth inheriting.
  • Bring customer questions and objections back to the product and marketing teams, then help new customers get started well.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in B2B software sales or go-to-market roles, with examples of deals you sourced and closed yourself.
  • Experience selling to senior marketing, growth, digital, or e-commerce leaders, often with more than one stakeholder involved.
  • The ability to explain a technical product in plain language and build a business case around the work it will do.
  • Strong writing, direct communication, reliable follow-through, and comfort building a process while doing the work.

Helpful experience

  • Experience in marketing technology, SEO, AI search, or selling alongside an agency.
  • Experience as an early sales hire who helped find a repeatable motion.
